Dear Patient,

Starting in May 2020, our offices are fully open for your medical and surgical eye care needs. As our community is recovering from COVID-19, availability in our offices may be limited at first, and we encourage younger healthy patients needing glasses or contact lens examinations to see one of our community optometry partners for vision exams. 

 

When you visit our office, please know that we’re taking all steps possible to prioritize the safety of you and our staff. You can rest assured that we are doing everything possible to minimize your risk to COVID-19 in our office.

Here are the steps we are taking to keep you safe and what you can expect when you visit our office:

• We record as much of your registration and medical history electronically or by phone to minimize your time in the office.

​

• Each patient is carefully screened before entering the office, including taking temperature.

​

• We have changed our schedules to have fewer patients in the building at one time.

​

• We request that you limit any accompanying family members to only those that are essential or if an interpreter is needed.

​

• Social distancing is practiced in the office by our staff and we ask you to do the same.

​

• We ask all our patients to wear facial coverings and we require our staff to wear facial coverings in all clinic areas.

​

• We clean each room and all surfaces between each patient.

​

• Hand sanitizers are placed throughout the office for use by both staff and patients. All staff practice frequent handwashing and we encourage you to do the same.

​

• All staff are screened each day before entering the building. This includes temperature testing.
